We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Creative Strategist to lead the creative direction for a dedicated social channel, transforming groundbreaking ideas into compelling content that resonates and engages. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing the end-to-end creative strategy for a high-visibility social channel. You'll develop engaging content series, establish evergreen programming, and skillfully integrate cultural moments to maximize reach and engagement. Your work will directly influence how millions perceive and interact with innovative products, balancing brand integrity with bold, risk-taking creative.
What You'll Do:
- Drive the end-to-end creative strategy for a dedicated social channel, including developing series, evergreen programming, and trend-driven content.
- Proactively identify and integrate cultural and platform trends to create breakthrough content, staying current with emerging social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors relevant to innovative products.
- Oversee creative quality and consistency, ensuring exceptional storytelling, design, and tone of voice across all channel content to maximize reach and engagement.
- Provide expert art direction for channel content, guiding visual execution and upholding brand standards.
- Actively participate in content creation, including filming, shooting, and crafting assets for social channels when applicable.
- Collaborate with the Channel team to assign series, templates, and formats to optimize product storytelling and drive meaningful engagement.
- Ensure all content adheres to established creative principles and channel perspectives, maintaining creative alignment with leadership.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with Brand Creative teams and partner with the Channel team to manage content approvals and reviews.
- Collaborate with internal channel teams and fellow creatives to develop innovative concepts, share best practices, and foster a culture of creative ownership.
- Champion creative experimentation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Support ongoing operations by working with editors to produce assets in a timely manner and hitting deadlines for key moments.
Qualifications:
Must-haves:
- 7+ years of experience in creative strategy for social channels.
- Proven experience developing end-to-end content strategies, including series development, evergreen programming, and trend-driven content.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear art direction, oversee visual execution, and uphold brand standards.
- Experience managing external creative agencies, including briefing, reviewing, and quality-checking output.
- Hands-on content creation skills (e.g., filming, shooting, crafting assets for social).
- Strong understanding of platform-specific trends, formats, and audience behaviors.
- Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration with brand, channel, and strategy teams.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience working within established creative principles or brand playbooks.
- Background in product storytelling, translating complex product features into engaging social content.
- Experience assigning and adapting content formats (templates, series, etc.) to match platform-specific best practices.
- Experience with gaming or entertainment industries.
- Familiarity with consumer technologies or emerging consumer technologies.
- A portfolio demonstrating both creative risk-taking and brand consistency, showcased on social platforms
