Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves providing patient care on a 24-bed general medicine unit with a focus on geriatrics. The RN will perform duties including medication administration following the five rights, wound care, documentation, admissions, discharges, and critical thinking skills. The position requires working a rotating shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Rotating
• Schedule: 9-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred, Ohio nursing license, no minimum years of experience specified, located in Ohio
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry monitoring, geriatric care experience, completion of competency during orientation for Masimo (3-lead) telemetry system
• Additional Information: The unit uses a Masimo (3-lead) telemetry system for continuous vital sign monitoring, including pulse oximetry, heart rate, and respiratory rate. The unit performs Age Friendly rounds twice weekly, emphasizing comprehensive geriatric patient care and quality of life.
