ERP Project Manager

Role Description
We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, upgrade, and support of ERP solutions, with a strong preference for experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) and/or Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision). The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate stakeholders, oversee project delivery, and ensure successful ERP implementations that align with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation, migration, upgrade, and optimization projects.
- Manage project scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Coordinate with functional consultants, developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and executive communications.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution design discussions.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, change management, and quality standards.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Manage data migration, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Drive continuous process improvements and ERP best practices.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to business requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience managing ERP implementation projects.
- Experience leading full lifecycle ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes including:
- Finance & Accounting
- Supply Chain Management
- Procurement
- Inventory Management
- Manufacturing (preferred)
- Sales & Distribution
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) implementations, upgrades, or migrations to D365 BC.
- Experience managing cloud ERP transformation projects.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations, APIs, EDI, Power Platform, and reporting solutions.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
- ERP consulting or implementation partner experience is highly desirable.
