Medical Assistant/Receptionist
(Temp-to-Hire)
The Bronx, NY
Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8:45a – 5:00p

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient triage, obtain vital signs (height, weight, and blood pressure), and complete initial patient check-ins and check-outs
• Record, review, and document comprehensive patient medication information accurately in the health records system
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and accurately document all administered immunizations
• Complete patient registration, schedule appointments, and print necessary lab documents to maintain smooth clinic operations
• Provide exceptional customer service while managing inbound and outbound phone calls and addressing patient inquiries
• Handle insurance verification, process and collect patient co-payments, and complete related financial documentation
• Deliver dependable clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and staff to ensure optimal patient care and workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant program completion required
• Medical assisting experience (3+ years)
• Phlebotomy experience
• Epic and CKD/Caretracker experience preferred

Compensation:

• $20-23/hr

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
