To flourish in this role, you'll need to hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program, along with state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR certification is preferable, and while specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric expertise are advantageous, they are not mandatory. Previous experience is strongly desired, as is proficiency in treating patients with intricate medical conditions and mobility challenges.
