Interim Senior Accountant
Our client, an advanced manufacturing company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support its accounting organization during a period of growth and increased operational activity. 

This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations of 3 days/week, in South San Francisco, CA. This engagement will have a duration of 3 months. 

Responsibilities:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances
• Support financial reporting and fluctuation analysis processes
• Review accounts payable activity and assist with resolving transaction-related discrepancies
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules and related reconciliations
• Support general ledger accounting and operational accounting processes
• Assist with accounting cleanup projects, process improvements, and documentation enhancements
• Participate in ad hoc accounting projects and special initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting processes
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience preferred
