Program Manager

Program ManagerInsight Global is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead planning, coordination, governance, and execution activities for the OPUS Modernization Program for an oil and gas services client. This role will support the modernization of the legacy OPUS platform, including phased delivery across operational workflows, D365 financial boundaries, integration services, reporting, data governance, testing, deployment, and change management. The Program Manager will work closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, architecture, application teams, Finance, Operations, vendors, and implementation partners to ensure the program delivers measurable business value with disciplined execution and transparent governance.Key Responsibilities:· Lead day-to-day project management for OPUS Modernization workstreams, including scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, budget tracking, and status reporting.· Establish and maintain integrated project plans across discovery, proof of concept, design, build, test, deployment, hypercare, and transition activities.· Coordinate the Phase 1 proof-of-concept foundation, including Profiles, Quotes, and bounded Tickets/Invoicing capabilities, while supporting later phases for financial boundary expansion, operational modernization, and reporting transformation.· Manage cross-functional alignment between Modern OPUS, D365 Finance and Supply Chain, Entra ID, Azure integration services, Fabric, Power BI, and enterprise reporting needs.· Support clear governance through steering team preparation, executive reporting, RAID management, decision tracking, resource planning, and escalation of blockers.· Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure solution decisions align with modernization principles, reusable platform patterns, integration controls, security expectations, and long-term technology strategy.· Work with Finance, Internal Audit, and control stakeholders to track D365/OPUS boundary decisions, SOX-related impacts, financial processing ownership, and evidence requirements.· Coordinate vendor and implementation partner activities, including deliverable tracking, meeting cadence, dependency management, quality reviews, and performance expectations.· Facilitate business process discovery, requirements validation, fit-gap analysis, acceptance criteria definition, user acceptance testing, change readiness, training, and stakeholder communications.· Drive disciplined delivery practices, including sprint or milestone planning, release readiness reviews, test coordination, defect management, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
