IOP Phlebotomist

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Hazel Green, Alabama location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient service in a clinical setting. The role operates Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for growth and performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
Enter patient information and maintain specimen and information logs accurately
Process billing and collect patient payments as required
Prepare collected specimens for testing and deliver superior customer service

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
Valid reliable transportation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full COVID-19 vaccination or qualifying exemption
