Signature Homes is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in our Birmingham, AL market. This in-office position, based in our Hoover, AL office will support recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and daily HR operations. The HR Coordinator serves as a key resource for candidates and employees while helping create an exceptional workplace culture and employee experience. Responsibilities: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, background checks, and offer administration. Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools Lead onboarding activities to ensure new hires have a positive and seamless start. Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, company events, team outings, recognition programs, and employee communications. Manage employee technology and equipment administration, including phones, computers, and mobile devices. Maintain HR records, reports, personnel files, and other administrative processes. Administer the company store and employee appreciation programs. Assist with HR reporting, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives. Skills and Experience: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR technology platforms; ADP experience a plus! High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality. Passion for creating a positive employee experience and workplace culture.
