Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations with a focus on cash management, account reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial transactions, managing banking activity, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile daily banking transactions across multiple accounts. Manage deposits, disbursements, electronic payments, and other cash activity. Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy. Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Prepare and post accounting transactions in accordance with company policies. Assist with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close activities. Monitor account balances and ensure timely processing of financial transactions. Generate financial reports and assist with internal reporting requests. Support audit requests by organizing documentation and providing account support. Maintain a high level of accuracy while handling confidential financial information. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes. Assist with additional accounting and finance projects as assigned. Required Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or accounting support experience. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Experience performing bank reconciliations and managing multiple financial accounts. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
