As a Security Officer Front Desk in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location where you will serve as the welcoming face at the front desk, assisting with access control, visitor management, and customer service. In this stationary role, you will support a professional environment, help to deter security-related concerns through visibility and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to life through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access at the front desk by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and sign-out, issuing access materials as directed, and documenting security-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when needed.
• Support a professional lobby and reception presence within a technology-focused location by communicating with staff, handling incoming calls and inquiries, and reporting unusual or suspicious activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related matters in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
