Customer Service Representative – Industrial Sales
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are looking for someone with previous experience selling industrial products or equipment , preferably someone familiar with products such as industrial valves, hydraulic hoses, utility hoses, metal hoses, fittings, or similar industrial products .

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to understand customer needs and recommend the appropriate products.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and follow up with prospective and existing customers.
• Handle inbound customer and sales calls.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate industrial products.
• Provide product information, pricing, and delivery estimates.
• Prepare and process customer sales orders.
• Track inventory and stock levels.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders and deliveries.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues related to products or deliveries.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer and sales information in computer systems.
• Work closely with Business Development Managers and other team members.
• Prepare reports regarding sales and customer transactions.
• Attend trade shows as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous industrial sales experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience selling or working with industrial products such as:
• • Valves
  • Hydraulic hoses
  • Utility hoses
  • Metal hoses
  • Industrial fittings
  • Similar industrial products or components
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend products.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
• Dependable, professional, and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Computer Skills

Experience with customer databases, inventory software, order processing systems, spreadsheets, and other computer-based business systems is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer and other work-related tasks.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
