Warehouse Equipment Operator Turret Operator We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Equipment Turret Operator for a long-term contract opportunity with our client, a leading global hospitality supply and distribution company. This role supports daily warehouse operations at our client's Plainfield, Indiana facility and requires current certification and hands-on experience operating a turret forklift. The ideal candidate works independently and flexes across multiple warehouse functions based on operational demands and coverage needs. Key Responsibilities: Operate turret forklifts and other industrial material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently Perform order picking and fulfillment activities to support daily shipping requirements Conduct load auditing and verification to ensure order and shipment accuracy Wrap, stage, and prepare pallets for outbound distribution Perform cycle counting and maintain inventory accuracy Flex across multiple warehouse functions as workload and coverage needs change Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and equipment inspection requirements Required Qualifications: Current turret forklift certification with documented hands-on operating experience Demonstrated experience operating industrial warehouse equipment; relevant experience must be clearly reflected on your resume Experience with material handling equipment, order picking, pallet wrapping and staging, and cycle counting Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment Familiarity with load auditing and inventory control processes About the Role: Contract duration: Approximately 1,040 total hours (roughly 6 months) Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs) Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Location: Plainfield, IN (on-site) Travel: None required Interview process: Candidates must complete an interview, conducted in person or by phone Compensation: Competitive rate Please note: Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
