Market ManagerLocation: Northern CaliforniaPosition Overview: Act as a sales enabler between Asurion and a wireless carrier's sales channels, focused on growth areas within the carrier-owned retail and indirect dealers. This position will be responsible for driving Mobility & Home Protection point-of-sale performance growth through field training & leadership coaching, and for implementing continuing education training & social media campaigns. This position will also work with internal Client Service team members and other internal cross-functional areas to identify growth opportunities and process improvements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Point of Sale strategic developmentAssess gaps in the current sales process and develop effective point of sale growth strategies to accelerate Mobility & Home Protection performanceEngage with top performers to isolate key best practices & identify correlations in effective sales behavior; then document and codify such best practices and ensure they are disseminated and adopted across all channelsField Sales Training SupportEngage high opportunity areas of retail and indirect channel to drive incremental mobility & home protect growthExecute on in-store training curriculum with store leadership, champions, and sales representativesConduct side-by-side selling and on-floor observations to develop product knowledge and confidence while cultivating sustainable sales behaviorPromote awareness and utilization of key channel support resourcesSales enablement store visits will entail (1) pre-meeting leadership engagement, (2) backroom training session, (3) 1:1 on floor coaching and observations, (4) side by side selling, (5) leadership/champion train the trainer sessions, (6) leadership meeting recap/key takeaways/recommend actions, (7) post visit performance monitoring with client store leadership, (8) post visit virtual trainings with leadership and repsThe Sales Enablement Market Manager will be in stores a minimum of four days per week.Virtual Training SupportCollaborate with internal Client Service team members on facilitating regional and area general session calls with carrier-owned and indirect channelsSkills:Mindset & behaviorHigh energyStrong interpersonal skillsAble to motivate others and rally people behind a goalCollaborative team playerSelf-propelling and resourcefulOrganizational and execution rigor"Can do" mentality and persistenceSoft/Leadership skills:Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiativeContact management, time management, and strong organizational skillsPresentation skills to small and large groups, across all levelsProblem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skillsIntermediate level abilities in Microsoft Office Suite and other client-related applications.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred (concentration in Business, Marketing or other relevant subject area is ideal)Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales-related role. Related areas such as consumer electronics, warranty products, etc., are also relevantInsurance Licensing: Must be able to pass the State Property and Casualty Licensing examTravel Requirements:Availability and flexibility to travel within an assigned area of responsibility with approximately 75% overnight travel.
