Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2448.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit for patients delivering at or beyond 32 weeks gestation. Collaborate with physicians and midwives to ensure safe and effective labor management, including triaging patients and performing post-delivery recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Triage incoming patients to assess condition and labor progress.
  
  
• 
  Circulate during cesarean sections, ensuring sterile technique and proper procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and manage labor progression, providing support to patients and staff.
  
  
• 
  Complete patient recovery procedures post-vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with current certifications including BLS, NRP, and ACLS.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to triage and manage high-acuity obstetric cases.
  
  
• 
  Previous experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
