Business Analyst

Experience: 5–8 years (ideal range 4–6+ years) Methodology: Agile About the Role Our retail client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a highly collaborative, local team supporting both business and technical initiatives. This role is hands‑on and heavily stakeholder‑facing, ideal for someone who enjoys translating business needs into clear technical requirements while actively participating in Agile delivery. You’ll work closely with product owners, developers, and project leadership to support data‑driven initiatives and operational improvements across the organization. Key Responsibilities Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements , including user stories and acceptance criteria Lead and facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions with cross‑functional teams Support Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming Translate business and operational needs into clear technical documentation Collaborate with data and reporting teams to support initiatives leveraging enterprise databases and BI tools Assist with business and technical operations and procedures , ensuring alignment across teams Provide light project coordination support , including status updates and risk/issue tracking Serve as a trusted, people‑focused teammate who helps drive alignment and momentum Required Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst (4–6+ years strongly considered) Strong experience writing requirements, user stories, and functional documentation Hands‑on experience working in Agile environments (Jira, sprint ceremonies, backlog management) SQL experience for data analysis and validation Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake Exposure to BI and reporting tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy) Proven ability to lead meetings and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills—collaborative, team‑oriented, and comfortable working with diverse groups Some exposure to project management concepts and delivery workflows Nice to Have Retail industry experience Experience supporting data‑heavy or analytics‑driven initiatives Comfort bridging gaps between business operations and technical teams What Makes This Role Stand Out Fully local, collaborative team environment Opportunity to support meaningful retail initiatives with real operational impact Strong mix of business, data, and Agile delivery exposure #J-18808-Ljbffr
