Patient Account Representative

The Patient Account Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for creating a positive patient experience while ensuring accurate and efficient registration processes. Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, obtaining necessary authorizations and documentation, collecting copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic health record system.

This position assists patients with questions regarding appointments, insurance coverage, and financial responsibilities while adhering to organizational policies and customer service standards. The Patient Account Representative works closely with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient clinic operations, improve patient access, and ensure accurate revenue cycle processes.
