Baxter seeks a Packaging Associate to support production of medical devices at a manufacturing facility in Skaneateles, NY. The role involves packaging, labeling, and preparing blood pressure cuff products for shipment while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance on a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Package finished products and components according to work instructions and quality standards
- Label, prepare, and stack products on pallets for shipment and storage
- Inspect products and materials for defects, damage, or nonconforming conditions
- Maintain inventory levels, report discrepancies, and replenish materials as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workspace organization per 6S principles
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 55 pounds regularly
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and equipment
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
