This role is responsible for receiving, moving, staging, and organizing materials so that production and shipping have what they need, where they need it, when they need it.The ideal candidate is comfortable operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and strictly following safety and security procedures. This team member plays a key part in the smooth and effective operation of the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & VerificationUnload incoming deliveries and verify quantities and condition of goods against paperworkIdentify and escalate damaged goods, missing items, or other discrepancies to the appropriate ownerMaterial Movement & StagingOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials across the warehouse, docks, and production areasDeliver materials to production areas on time to support the production scheduleMove completed and packaged orders to designated staging locationsSupport the Shipper with loading trucks and preparing pallets as neededInventory & OrganizationPut away and store materials in designated locationsOrganize inventory within the warehouse and production areasSupport cycle counts and inventory accuracy effortsDocumentation & System TransactionsMaintain accurate material movement and inventory transactions in the ERP systemReview documents for accuracy and completenessFollow established procedures and work instructionsSafety, Quality & SecurityFollow all site safety, quality, and security requirements at all timesHandle customer product and sensitive materials according to company standardsOperate material handling equipment and power or hand tools safelyMaintain a clean and safe work areaQualificationsExperience handling, storing, and moving materials or suppliesExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipmentBasic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing)Basic computer skills with the ability to access information and enter data accuratelyStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational skills and ability to follow established proceduresClear communication with team members, supervisors, and other departmentsAbility to identify and resolve issues related to damaged goods, missing items, or discrepanciesPreferred (Nice-to-Have)Experience with ERP systems (Infor Visual preferred)Forklift certificationPrior warehouse or material handling experience in a manufacturing environmentInterest in contributing to continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shiftAbility to bend, stoop, lift, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbsAbility to work in warehouse conditionsWhy This Role MattersProduction can only run as well as its material flow.
