Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional. Responsibilities Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive Answer general questions from guests Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby Qualifications Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills Compensation $15 - $15/hour About Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Wilmington South Across from the University of Delaware, this all-suite hotel offers spacious 2-room suites, along with many free and modern amenities, including free WIFI, evening reception, and free parking.
