Temporary Faculty Pool, Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Position Description The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) invites highly qualified, motivated, and well‑organized applicants for a pool of Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach appointments. Department Overview CSUDH’s Athletic Department sponsors four men’s teams and six women’s teams, competes in NCAA Division II CCAA, and prioritizes academic standards and personal growth for student‑athletes. The Position The assistant coach assists with the operations of the Men’s Soccer program in accordance with NCAA, CCAA, and University rules, regulations, and policies. Responsibilities Recruiting, scheduling, planning, organizing, and fundraising. Monitoring academic performance of student‑athletes. Promoting intercollegiate athletics and performing other duties assigned by the head coach. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience. Required: Experience working with undergraduates from diverse backgrounds. Preferred: Master’s degree. Employment Requirements Background check including criminal records check is required for employment. Benefits Initial salary for a 12‑month coaching assistant position ranges from $6,288 to $7,658 based on experience and education.
