Description

American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer with vascular and general ultrasound experience for an acute care hospital position requiring ARDMS certification and flexible evening, weekend, and call availability.

• Acute care hospital ultrasound unit
• Flex position with evening, weekend, and call hours
• 8-hour shifts
• Charting system: Expanse (hCare)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sonography experience
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• ARDMS certification with specialty in at least one area (AB, OB/GYN, PS, or RVT)
• ARRT certification in Radiology
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Vascular and general ultrasound experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• A copy of an unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• CCI certification is accepted but not preferred
• RVT (via ARDMS) is listed as a required certification — candidates with this credential are encouraged to apply
