What You'll Do

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing in the cardiovascular OR setting
• Assist with preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care of cardiac surgery patients
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with hospital standards
• Support emergency and relief team assignments as needed
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety guidelines

What You Need

• Required:
• Valid Louisiana RN license or eligible
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of OR experience, including CVOR preferred
• Ability to work 8-hour daytime shifts
• Experience working with cardiac surgery patients
• Preferred:
• Previous CVOR experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to adapt to emergency team duties when required
