Director of Nursing (DON) – Residential & Outpatient SUD Treatment Location: Louisville, TN ( Greater Knoxville TN Area) Compensation: $110,000 - 130,000 annually dependent on experience About the Organization Lincoln Healthcare has partnered with a multi-state behavioral health network specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Our client provides comprehensive, individualized care with a strong focus on healing, accountability, and sustainable recovery. Position Overview We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing operations across our client’s residential campus, with limited support provided to affiliated outpatient services. The DON will report directly to the Executive Director. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing team to ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care Oversee all aspects of nursing services, including scheduling, compliance, medication management, and staff development Partner with medical and clinical leadership teams to support seamless client care across residential and outpatient settings Drive process improvements and support change management initiatives during the organization’s integration phase Maintain strong compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards Provide limited support (approximately 5%) to outpatient services, primarily focused on coordination and provider support Ideal Candidate Registered Nurse (RN), licensed in Tennessee (or ability to obtain) Proven leadership experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in SUD treatment or addiction services Strong operational skills with a task-oriented and adaptable mindset Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change and integration Why Join?
