Locum Anesthesiology - Cottonwood, Arizona Candidate Snapshot Start Date: September 14, 2026 Contract: September-December 2026, with coverage through December 31 Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital Trauma Level: Adult IV Practice Setting: Hospital Patient Volume: 4-8 patients per day Patient Population: All ages Support: CRNAs and nurses; CRNA support is always available EMR: Cerner Hospital Size: 87 beds Availability / Coverage Needed Regular Schedule: 6:45 AM-3:00 PM Night Call: 3:00 PM-6:45 AM 24-Hour Call: As scheduled below September 14-18: Night call September 14 and 16 September 21-25: Night call September 21; September 22 required as post-call day off September 28-October 2: Night call September 29 October 5-9: Night call October 6 and 9 October 10-11: 24-hour call October 19-23: Night call October 21 November 2-6: Night call November 2 and 4 December 7-11: Night call December 7 and 9 December 18: Single-day coverage December 21-24: Night call December 21 and 24; December 22 required as post-call day off December 28-31: Night call December 28 and 31 Licensure and Certifications Arizona Medical License OR IMLC Letter of Qualification: Required for presentation DEA: Required BLS: Required ACLS: Required Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology OB Anesthesia Experience: Required Clinical Requirements Current OB anesthesia experience is required. Must be comfortable covering: OB Operating Room Endoscopy Nights and weekends CRNA support is always available. Endoscopy procedures are performed under propofol infusion. Clinical Practice Approximately 3,000 OR cases annually Approximately 3,000 endoscopy cases annually Approximately 500 OB deliveries annually Common cases include: Geriatric fractures Urology General surgery, excluding bariatrics Advanced breast cancer surgery Total joint procedures Endoscopy under propofol infusion Special Procedures: OB anesthesia and endoscopy under propofol infusion Experience and Credentials Minimum Experience: 1 year Required Experience: Current OB anesthesia experience Board Certification: Anesthesiology - BC/BE Charting: Cerner Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
