Jira Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities Administer and maintain Jira environments, including system setup and ongoing configuration Configure and manage custom fields, workflows, screens, schemes, and issue types Manage user roles, permissions, security schemes, and access controls Design, implement, and maintain global automations and Jira Automation rules Evaluate, install, configure, and support Atlassian Marketplace / third-party plugins Partner with engineering, product, and leadership teams to support Agile, Scrum, and Kanban workflows Provide guidance and best practices for Jira usage across teams Lead Jira governance, standards, and platform optimization initiatives Troubleshoot Jira-related issues and provide timely resolutions Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide platform usage insights Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of overall IT experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in Jira / Atlassian Administration Strong expertise in Jira administration, including: System setup and configuration Custom fields, workflows, screens, and schemes Permissions, roles, and security management Hands-on experience with global automations and Jira Automation rules Experience managing Atlassian Marketplace and third-party plugins Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC processes Prior experience in a lead or manager role.
