Position summary This full‑time position involves teaching 4 sections of upper school science, including Honors Biology, Neuroscience (if possible), and advising a group of upper school students. Knowledge of teaching lab science with a student‑centered approach is required. There are also opportunities to coach sports and/or internal clubs in addition to teaching/advising. Teach 4 sections of upper school lab science. Advisor to a group of upper school students. Qualifications Required: B.S. in Biology, Engineering, Education, or a similar field. Knowledge of teaching lab science with a student‑centered approach. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with fellow teachers and administrators. Skilled at integrating technology as a tool to advance student learning. Preferred: Previous experience teaching Biology. Knowledge of computer science and/or Robotics. Willingness to coach a team sport or Robotics. Work environment Moving between various classroom and lab spaces. Exposure to chemicals used in biology classrooms. Compensation Salary commensurate with experience. Minimum annual salary: $65,000. Maximum annual salary: $110,000. Other compensation: stipends available for coaching or other additional duties.
