Overview Licensed Practical Nurse – Long Term Care, traveling for a 13-week assignment in Sonora, California. Start date 08/31/2026 with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and a pay range of $1,371 to $1,452 per week. Shift is 5x8 days in a short term acute care hospital setting. The role operates under supervision of an RN or MD and involves patient care planning, procedures requiring basic nursing training, and collaboration with the care team. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,371–$1,452 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 days (days) Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: Short term acute care hospital, travel assignment Responsibilities Provide routine nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN or MD Perform clinical procedures within scope (e.g., injections, phlebotomy, wound care, sterile dressings) Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses Assist in developing and implementing an interdisciplinary care plan and discharge planning Educate patients and families, supporting shared decision‑making and self-care after discharge Maintain organized, clean treatment areas and restock supplies as needed Participate in on‑call duties as assigned by agency leadership Requirements Active LVN/LPN license in the state of practice (California) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Health Care Providers EPIC EMR experience required Hospice experience required; approximately two years of recent nursing experience preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Valid Driver’s License preferred and candidate must be at least 21 years old if a driver's role is required Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing and onboarding assistance Assignment and scheduling support throughout the travel period Ongoing on‑site and remote support during the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
