This opportunity offers the chance to manage a broad spectrum of inpatient and emergency urologic cases while working in a collaborative community hospital environment utilizing Epic EMR. Physicians will provide hospital-based surgical coverage, emergency consultations, and telephone support for affiliated regional facilities. Providers with strong communication skills and comprehensive general urology experience are encouraged to apply. Assignment Highlights Seven consecutive 24-hour call shifts Hospital-based urology coverage Active surgical call Approximately 10–12 callback hours daily Covers Chambersburg Hospital Telephone support for Gettysburg, Waynesboro, and Fulton County Medical Center Adult and pediatric urology Epic EMR 76-bed community hospital No APP support Temporary privileges available Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification accepted Pay Ranking: Top 10% community Urology call assignment Job Responsibilities Provide 24-hour inpatient urology call coverage Evaluate emergency department consults Perform urgent and emergent surgical procedures Round on hospitalized urology patients Manage inpatient admissions Perform emergency operative interventions Coordinate care with emergency medicine and hospitalist teams Provide telephone consultation to affiliated hospitals Complete documentation using Epic EMR Practice Details 76-bed acute care hospital General Urology Emergency surgical coverage Hospital inpatient service Epic EMR No Advanced Practice Provider support Regional consultative coverage Adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric patients Skills & Experience Required MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification DEA Epic EMR experience Comprehensive General Urology experience Preferred Hospital call experience Independent emergency operative experience Strong communication skills New graduates considered
