Description:
This position is for an Electrophysiology Physician.
The schedule consists of Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
There is no call required for this role.
Coverage needed is up to 40 hours per week, once per month and as needed for vacation coverage.
The patient population will be adults aged 18 to 100.
You will see approximately 16 out-patients and 10 to 15 in-patients per day.
The practice involves procedures such as Pacemaker Implant, ICD implant, Loop recorder implant and/or explant, and Ablations.
The department uses the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Credentialing will take approximately 90 days, but temporary privileges are available with a clean file.
Health requirements such as vaccines, a physical exam, and fit verification are required.
Full compliance is necessary two weeks prior to the start date.
A comprehensive malpractice history is required, including full disclosure of any settlements.
Please note that exceptions may apply to malpractice cases that are over 20 years old.
