These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor process performance.Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues to determine root causes and implement solutions.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA).Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality tools.Bonus QualificationsASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certificationExperience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologiesFamiliarity with Minitab or other statistical software packagesKnowledge of CMM programming and operationJob Titles That Should ApplyQuality Engineer, QA Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, Product Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Lead Quality Engineer, Staff Quality Engineer, Principal Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Test Engineer, Process Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Software Quality EngineerWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
