Overview Congressional Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic, member-focused professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide day‑to‑day oversight of the operations of branch. Serve as escalation point for member problem resolution. Supervise Branch Service Representative IIs and Branch Operations Supervisors in Capitol Hill Branches. Ensure service level standards and other branch goals are met daily. Where you will have an impact Works closely with branch management to ensure service standards are achieved with emphasis on building member relationships and providing proactive service. Engage and motivate staff in the attainment of branch operational and sales goals. Ensure all aspects of the branch are running smoothly and according to guidelines. May fill in for any role in the branch at any time. Serves as the escalation point for member service issues. Perform operational functions as necessary including ordering cash, managing the vault, opening/closing procedures, etc. Assist with the branch recruiting process. Mentor branch staff and provide hands‑on training and development to ensure new and existing staff have the requisite skills, knowledge, and appropriate performance levels. Conduct employee performance evaluations and serve as coach for Branch Service Representatives IIs and Branch Operations Supervisors to attain branch operational and individual performance goals. Oversee and monitor department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Work with branch management to ensure any issues are escalated and resolved in a timely fashion. Steps in and performs other roles in the branch as necessary to maintain high levels of customer service and operations, and to resolve complaints. Function as an individual performer in providing service to members, resolving complaints, cross‑selling products and other duties as assigned. Take ownership as the escalation point for the branch with service or operational issues and provide timely and accurate problem resolution. What You Bring to the Table Qualifications and Skills required : A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. A two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Completion of a specialized and extensive in‑house training or apprenticeship program; or the equivalent combination of education and/or commensurate experience. A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy required. In‑depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first‑level to middle managers. Physical Requirements Ability to communicate. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and move items up to 20 lbs.
