- Current Registered Dietitian license required
- 2+ years of professional dietitian experience in long-term care with some administrative responsibility.
OR - 1+ year of experience as a consulting Registered Dietitian for one or more long-term care facilities
- Develop preliminary and comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents
- Develop individualized dietary plans of care
- Partner with residents and families in developing and reviewing care plans
- Ensure dietary staff are aware of and follow resident care plans
- Identify special dietary equipment and nutritional needs
- Review resident charts and provide recommendations for appropriate medical nutrition therapy
