Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking Senior Systems Engineers interested in Naval Radar engineering. Our Portsmouth, RI team primarily supports programs in the Naval undersea and Naval surface domains, including sensor systems, mine countermeasures, submarines, torpedoes, combat systems, and ship architecture/integration. Our Naval Radar engineers perform radar data analysis and tracking, develop and manage system requirements, integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. Your primary responsibilities will include being a team leader in overseeing technical work and ensuring project requirements are met with precision and accuracy. You will act as a team leader by reviewing work, and contributing to the development of innovative procedures, processes, and standards to enhance team performance. You will ensure systems are built, tested, and deployed seamlessly, while ensuring the team is meeting project objectives.
