Public Relations Account Executive

This position is located in Milwaukee, WI. Punch PR, a Trozzolo Company, is a full-service public relations agency that creates bold storytelling campaigns, comprehensive social media and PR programs and compelling event experiences. The PR Account Executive is a key member of the account service team. The primary role is to ensure excellent communication and organization of all tactical details for assigned accounts, with both internal teams and the client. We are seeking a PR & Social Media Account Executive to join our team. The qualified candidate will bring outstanding foundational public relations experience with a solid working knowledge of applying social media content and influence in the real world. This candidate will also help produce a series of local community events, executing on social media and local media engagement as well as event management. In this role, you will develop media lists, pitch media, write compelling content, work with content creators and influencers, plan events, analyze social media and more. We are looking for a positive, energetic professional to work on our growing team. Qualifications/Skills: Minimum 1-3 years of communications experience including time spent in direct account management. Journalism and/or agency background is a plus. Strong collaboration, communication and people skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment. Strong analytical and creative mind. Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced agency environment. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a storyteller and cheerleader for our clients’ brands, while also driving smart, organized execution to bring strategies to life and achieve best results. Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives, industry challenges and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations and initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long‑lasting relationships. Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels, potentially including public relations, community engagement, social media, traditional/digital advertising, events and experiential marketing. Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts locally, regionally, nationally and within business and industry media. Coordinate client events and interview requests. Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, digital and account management, to ensure the successful delivery of client projects on time and within budget. Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals and reports that effectively communicate agency work performance, insights and recommendations. Conduct and/or oversee research activities and contribute to insights. Manage client’s billing (worksheets, Service Reports, budget tracker and projections).
