The Sales Support Coordinator serves as a key support partner to the Industrial Sales team, helping drive sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This position works closely with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), Sales Directors, Customer Experience, Operations, and Distributors to ensure timely execution of sales activities, accurate order processing, and exceptional customer support. As a leading provider of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Pyramex relies on Sales Coordinators to help maintain strong distributor relationships, support revenue growth initiatives, and enable the sales team to focus on selling and developing customer partnerships.

Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Sales Support

• Provide administrative and operational support to assigned Territory Sales Managers and Sales Directors.
• Manage non-revenue-generating administrative tasks that allow the sales team to focus on customer development and sales growth.
• Assist with customer follow-up, distributor communication, and sales-related requests.
• Coordinate sales promotions, product launches, and customer training activities.
• Maintain customer records, notes, and activity tracking within company systems.
• Cross Reference competitor products.
• Assist sales team with sales trips and tradeshow preparation and follow up.

Order & Account Management

• Review and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of account code accuracy and order documentation.
• Coordinate with customer service, operations, and accounting to resolve order issues.
• Assist with pricing inquiries, product availability requests, and order status updates.
• Ensure customer requests are addressed promptly and professionally.

Customer & Distributor Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for distributors and internal sales teams.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through timely communication and follow-through.
• Assist distributors with product information, promotions, samples, and documentation.
• Support account maintenance and distributor relationship development.
• Escalate customer concerns and coordinate resolutions when necessary.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Territory Sales Managers, Sales Directors, Customer Experience, Marketing, Operations, and Accounting teams.
• Participate in regular sales coordination and best-practice meetings.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and instruction guides for assigned sales personnel.
• Provide backup support for other coordinators during peak workloads or absences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, inside sales, or account coordination required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Mgmt) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and phone systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
