Human Resource Specialist

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Little Rock, AR that is seeking a Human Resource Specialist. Summary: We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, recruitment support, compliance, payroll administration, and employee engagement. This role partners closely with managers and employees to deliver HR programs and processes that support business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute core HR processes, including onboarding, new hire orientation, exit interviews, leave administration, return-to-work programs, unemployment claims, and OSHA-related reporting Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding company policies, procedures, and HR best practices Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruiting and staffing initiatives Process and support payroll activities, maintain timekeeping systems, and ensure payroll accuracy and compliance Assist with employee relations matters and support an inclusive, engaged workplace culture Support employee engagement programs and initiatives Maintain accurate HR records and assist with reporting and compliance requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred PHR or SPHR certification is a plus 2+ years of HR experience with direct payroll administration experience required Experience with timekeeping systems, payroll processing, and HRIS platforms Strong understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance requirements Workday experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Strong organizational and employee relations skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR technology systems The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
