Physical Therapist (PT) Specialty Home Health

Schedule: Days: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week or possible 4x10s.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Hold a license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Maintain and update physical therapy skills and certifications as necessary.
• Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services.
• Computer skills necessary to complete job requirements, including EMR.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Guide and monitor patient care in all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient charts and follow up on prescriptions and test results.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA policies and ensure patient privacy.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must actively participate in company privacy training and communicate privacy policy information to coworkers.
• Required to comply with OSHA and federal and state regulations.
