Senior Clinical Science Specialist, Rare Disease / Liver, North Florida

Ipsen seeks a Senior Clinical Science Specialist to manage the rare disease and hepatology business across North Florida. The role combines clinical expertise with commercial acumen, requiring account leadership, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making to meet sales and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed sales, share, and KPI targets for assigned brands and territory
• Manage North Florida geography and customer accounts with prioritization and efficient resource utilization
• Navigate complex multi-stakeholder organizations including integrated networks and healthcare communities
• Conduct in-depth evidence-based conversations with physicians using approved resources and messages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve customer needs efficiently

Requirements

• Eight years life-sciences experience with five years in rare or specialty areas
• Three years specialty biopharma sales experience
• Gastroenterology and/or hepatology background preferred
• Demonstrated payer and clinical landscape knowledge in specialty and rare diseases
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees a plus
• Strong presentation, organizational, and written communication abilities
• Patient-centric approach with empathy and commitment to patient support

Compensation: $135,000-$198,000 base
