Entry-level Field Civil Engineer (CMT)

NOVA Engineering is seeking an Entry-Level Field Engineer to join our Norcross, GA team supporting Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Special Inspection projects across the Atlanta metro area. This is a salaried position with paid overtime (1.5x base rate) , offering an excellent opportunity to build real‑world engineering skills while working on large-scale, prestigious projects throughout the Southeast. Primary responsibilities will include: Performing field inspection, sampling, and testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, foundations, and other construction materials Assisting with data reduction, analysis, and report preparation Supporting project management and technical reporting Working on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, and residential developments Communicating with clients and project teams to support project success Collaborating with NOVA team members to help meet project goals and company objectives This role is approximately 90% field-based and 10% office-based, with occasional travel.
