About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Coding Operations to play a pivotal role in establishing and executing the strategic and operational vision for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business processes that enhance coding efficiency, productivity, and quality, while also ensuring that client expectations are exceeded and financial targets are met. This role involves providing oversight of both domestic and global coding operations, including production coding, auditing, quality assurance, and client support services. The VP will be accountable for a range of key performance indicators, including client implementation, operational performance, customer satisfaction, compliance, and risk management. Candidates for the Vice President of Coding Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field, with RHIT certification and relevant coding credentials. A minimum of 12-15 years of management experience in a coding production environment, particularly with a focus on ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS/CPT, and modifiers, is required. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in effective communication, multi-level client engagement, and experience in a global production team. The VP will be expected to collaborate with the technology development team to drive process automation and innovation, as well as to work closely with various internal teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new clients. Strong analytical skills, the ability to monitor and report on various performance metrics, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are essential.
