Corporate Mid-Level Securities Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level securities associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Corporate Practice in New York. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and team members on securities, capital markets, and general corporate matters. Duties Prepare and manage SEC and other regulatory filings and submissions. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents for corporate and securities transactions. Coordinate and execute transactions, including public and private offerings. Conduct due diligence reviews and coordinate deal closings. Manage and develop client relationships. Supervise and train junior associates and manage transactional specialists. Perform research and writing to support the practice. Requirements 3-5 years of legal experience in a major national or international law firm. Experience drafting key legal documents for corporate and securities matters. Experience interacting with regulatory authorities such as the SEC. Securities transactional and compliance experience preferred. Experience in public and private offerings preferred. Tech company experience is a plus. Education Must be licensed or eligible to practice law in the State of New York. Certifications Good standing with the New York State Bar.
