About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Market Access to spearhead the development and execution of the U.S. market access strategy. This pivotal role involves leading the market access planning and execution for the company's first commercial oncology launch, with a focus on ensuring successful launch readiness across various key areas including pricing, reimbursement, payer strategy, contracting, patient support services, distribution, trade, and evidence generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building a market access organization, establishing key performance indicators, and translating market insights into actionable strategies. As a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, the Executive Director will work cross-functionally to ensure broad and timely patient access to the novel precision oncology therapy. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field and at least 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in market access, particularly in the oncology sector. The role requires deep expertise in U.S. payer systems, specialty pharmacy, and patient access programs, as well as experience in building market access capabilities within emerging biotechnology organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A background in precision oncology, biomarker-driven therapies, and experience with global market access is a plus.
