BBSI is Hiring a Receiving Clerk

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse receiving duties. Must be able to multi-task multiple projects/assignments.

Primary Role Accountabilities

·       Support all aspects of receiving materials, products, and supplies.

·       Perform forklift operations such as loading, unloading, and transporting material to different locations within the facility.

·       Maintain electronic receiving document files.

·       Collaborate with Finance on AP invoice matching to receipts.

·       Coordinate the loading and unloading activity for pickup and deliveries.

·       Maintain stock levels and organize storage of product packaging and labeling.

·       Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment.

·       Provide receipt backup to Accounting when requested and work to resolve receipt issues.

·       Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

·       Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor.

·       Conduct preassigned daily cycle counts as requested.

·       Assist on all warehouse clerk duties during peak periods in the warehouse as required.

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

·       Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs. (or as required by the role).

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

  Essential Work Experience, Qualifications, & Skills

·       Good written and verbal communication skills.

·       Strong sense of urgency and time management.

·       Computer skills and knowledge of data entry and inventory software programs.

·       High level of attention to detail.

·       Excellent math skills.

·       Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

·       High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.

·       At least two years’ related work experience is required.

·       Obtain forklift certification within 90 days of job start date.

·       Experience with ISO 9001 is preferred.

Additional Requirements

·       May need to be available outside normal working hours should issues arise.

·       Must pass a security background check and drug screen.
