Description:

• Support TI-24 AFSS development effort, including SRR, PDR and CDR design reviews

• Corroborate with suppliers and industry partners to develop AFSS architecture
• Support JS-FISSA and Range Safety reviews for compliance verification and closure
• Support Tech Insertion proposals and trade studies. Provide concept designs, collaborate with industry partners and support design reviews with customer
• Develop/maintain internal electrical schematics, ICDs, system electrical models and electrical block diagrams
• Work with Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) and designers to ensure proper integration at the system level
• Provide independent review and coordination to ensure flight system designs are electrically compatible
• Support anomaly investigations during integration and test phase
• Participate in design maturity reviews
• Support integration activities at vehicle manufacturing location for Flight Test missions

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience executing systems engineering activities including working with ConOps, architectures, and requirements
• Experience leading technical teams through hardware and/or software development activities
• Experience working in a lab environment, familiar with troubleshooting tools and troubleshooting mindset
• Architecture, test, and development experience and experience/involvement with system integration
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes
• Must have an active secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Supported product development from inception to design, qualification and fielding
• Supported design reviews to include SRR, CDR, PDR and knowledgeable in generating artifacts and closure of
• Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve complex and technical issues/challenges
• Demonstrated collaboration with industry partners and drive design solutions and architecture
• Experience with missile architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of missile and launch systems at the component through system level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
