Must-Have: At least 1 year of CT experience; knowledge of emergency type scans

Description: Must provide own Rad Badge. Clinical Profile Review is required, and the manager will conduct interviews. The department has 2 scanners, specifically GE and Toshiba models. The traveler may be required to float or cover other areas if the GE machine malfunctions. Common types of imaging and studies performed include CTA, Body, and Neuro scans. On average, around 30 scans or studies are conducted in a 12-hour shift. The department utilizes EMR and PACS software systems. Department-specific equipment includes GE and Toshiba. The Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech will oversee the daily operations. Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized in this department. There are Radiologists available during the day, but not in the evenings or on weekends. Starting IVs is mainly the responsibility of the emergency department; however, the tech should be capable of starting and troubleshooting non-working IVs. Weekend work is required, including holidays. Call or standby requirements are in place, with a response time of 30 minutes. Scrubs should be solid colors, and they will be provided. Department-specific orientation will be conducted. The care setting is acute. Radiology positions fall under the Allied division. Shifts will be 7 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday to Sunday. Holiday work is required.
