Postdoc: Oxide Semiconductors & MBE Devices on Silicon

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher position in semiconductors and semiconductor devices with a focus on thin film growth using Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE), materials characterization, and fabrication of semiconductor devices based on oxides on Silicon. The appointment will be in the Department of Physics at Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas, under the supervision of Dr. Nikoleta Theodoropoulou: The position is available immediately with a starting salary of $60,000 per year with the possibility of extension based on external funding and performance. Research will be conducted in research facilities for thin film deposition (MBE and sputtering), electrical transport measurements, cleanroom fabrication and materials characterization. The successful candidate will have access to shared research facilities including X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and cryogenic measurement systems.
