Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We manage luxury condominium and homeowners associations throughout downtown Nashville and pride ourselves on delivering a hospitality-driven level of service.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout assigned properties
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, doors, locks, lighting, appliances, and basic HVAC systems
• Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
• Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
• Assist with building repairs, unit turnovers, and special projects
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as directed
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance shops, equipment, and storage areas
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, residents, Board members, and vendors
• Assist with snow, ice, or weather-related property needs when applicable
• Participate in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of general maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and basic HVAC troubleshooting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces throughout the workday
• Perform repetitive physical tasks and safely operate hand and power tools
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as part of an on-call rotation
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
