Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and current license with the Vermont State Board of Nursing, or completion of a formal education program in Surgical technology, certified or eligible to sit for certification, and maintains professional growth and development to stay current in the field. This is a bargaining union position. University of Vermont Health - Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison County and the town of Brandon.
