Warehouse Selector (Day Shift)

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Essential duties and Responsibilities:Accurately, consistently and safely follow directions involving; picking from a pick ticketOperate forklift, electric pallet jack, and any additional equipment as neededScan and send all received P.O. documentation over to the accounting teamReceive trucks in a timely and accurate manner to load and unload tractor trailer trucker per P.O. requirementsAccurately identifying and picking cases of product from inventory locationsAccurately pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO (First in First out)Scan and place labels on products as necessaryHand stacking product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipmentMaintain integrity of products through proper handling and storageMaintain accurate inventoriesReturning undelivered product to their proper inventory locationsPerform the cleaning and maintenance duties as may be directed by the warehouse supervisorObserves safe product handling techniques. Cooperates with supervisors and peers alikeTimely and accurate slotting of products in rack systemVarious other duties, as assignedQualifications and Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of age.Can read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language sufficiently to perform various tasks of the job, including but not limited to; read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, communicating with co-workers and the general public, understanding oral and written instructions, accurately completing various shipping papers, reports, and records required of the position.Ability to operate various types of configuration of equipment assigned, including various types of forklifts and hand held scanners with training.Forklift and OSHA certified preferredPossess good judgement necessary to perform the functions of the job including; operating a forklift in a safe and lawful manner; handling customers’ products safely and efficiently, and communicating tactfully and diplomatically.Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperaturesBe able to operate a forklift, electric jack, stand up ForkliftFamiliar with CK31 & CK71 scanner is a plusAbility to meet physical requirements including: standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 20 to 100 pounds.Benefits you will enjoy:Comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug Plan, Disability Plan, Life insurance Plan401K savings PlanPaid HolidaysPersonal Time offEmployee DiscountsQuirch Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
